A RN or LVN who violates the state laws and issuances from the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) should seek proper help from a nurse lawyer in Texas. Doing so could make or break their cases. As a matter of fact, the license can even be suspended or revoked if not defended properly.

One such incident happened to a LVN in 2019. During the time of the incident she was currently employed as LVN in a medical facility in Temple, Texas.

On or about May 5, 2019 through June 2, 2019, the LVN falsely documented that she remained on duty until 6:30 p.m., when in fact, she left her assignment at 5:45 p.m. Additionally, the LVN submitted timesheets for reimbursement for hours that she did not actually work. Her conduct created an inaccurate medical record and defrauded the healthcare service of compensation for hours she did not actually work.

Because of this, the LVN was summoned by the Texas Board of Nursing to defend her side.

She denies that allegation and states that these allegations occurred after she reported an act of violence toward her by the patient’s father. The LVN states that the healthcare service is only able to produce three (3) different conflicting time frames. During these 3 different time frames, the healthcare service is reporting fraudulent time out completely different than what is on her pay stubs.

However, she was not able to provide a good and experienced nurse lawyer in Texas to help her defend her side of the story.

Because of the incident, the LVN was disciplined and suspended by the Board of Nursing.

The Texas Board of Nursing (BON) is the government agency that has jurisdiction to hear and decide administrative cases involving RN and LVN license.  The Board has the power to suspend and/or revoke the nurse license.  It is also the agency that is responsible for overseeing the practice of professional nursing all over the State of Texas.

The Texas Board of Nursing decided to revoke her license as a result of her actions. It’s because she failed to hire a good nurse lawyer in Texas for the case, which is why her defense was not matched with the evidence that the Board possesses.
