When nurses in Laredo are in a legal bind due to their work, they will need a Laredo nurse attorney to defend their case. Take note that a Laredo nurse attorney can also defend a nurse’s license against accusations.
On or about September 20, 2018, while employed as a Registered Nurse in a hospital in Laredo, the nurse allegedly lacked the fitness to practice professional nursing in that she was observed sleeping, sitting in a chair slumped over, walking around the unit with her eyes closed, walking in a daze, walking into a wall, and spilling chips on the floor while at the nurse’s station and walking on them.
Additionally, a patient felt unsafe with the RN’s nursing care and was transferred to another facility. Her condition could have affected her ability to recognize subtle signs, symptoms, or changes in patients’ conditions, and could have affected her ability to make rational, accurate, and appropriate assessments, judgments, and decisions regarding patient care, thereby placing the patients in potential danger.
On the same day, the RN allegedly failed to administer one syringe of Piperacillin-Tazobactam 3.375gm, one syringe of Vancomycin 2gm, half a tab of Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg, and two (2) tabs of Lisinopril 10mg to a patient as ordered by the physician. Her conduct was likely to injure the patient in that failure to administer medications as ordered by the physician could have resulted in non efficacious treatment.
On or about March 26, 2018, the RN was again observed to be sleeping while on duty.
The Texas Board of Nursing then subjected the nurse and her license to disciplinary action. Thousands of attorneys out there offer help to people with their legal difficulties. However, nurses will want to find one who understands their job.
